Editorial & Fact-Checking Policy
At Spike Arrow Tech, our credibility is our single most valuable asset. This document details our unwavering commitment to technical accuracy, vendor neutrality, fact-checking, and ethical AI assistance.
1. Research & Technical Sourcing
All architectural guides, protocol analyses, and schema reviews published on Spike Arrow Tech must be rooted in verified primary documentation. We source our research directly from:
- Official IATA resolution manuals, NDC schemas (XML/JSON), and ONE Order design specifications.
- Direct API documentation from certified providers (Amadeus for Developers, Sabre Dev Studio, Travelport API, Duffel).
- Aviation regulatory filings, ATPCO tariff distribution frameworks, and SITA technical standards.
- Production post-mortems and engineering papers verified by practicing industry architects.
2. Multi-Tier Peer Review Process
Before publication, articles pass through a structured four-stage editorial funnel:
- Technical Drafting: Authored by a domain specialist with documented systems experience.
- Code & Schema Verification: Endpoint payloads, cryptic command sequences, and JSON structures are tested against sandbox environments.
- Vendor Neutrality Audit: Verification that commercial entities (e.g. Amadeus vs Sabre) are analyzed with balanced objectivity without commercial favoritism.
- Editorial Approval: Final verification of readability, typography, and clear metadata.
3. Artificial Intelligence & Content Generation Policy
We strictly enforce a Zero-AI-Spam Policy. We believe programmatic AI content farms degrade technical discourse and harm reader trust.
Generative AI tools may only be utilized as supplementary research assistants (e.g., summarizing voluminous RFC documentation or generating language translations). Every single paragraph, diagram, code snippet, and conclusion is verified, edited, and approved by a named human engineer. We never publish fully automated or programmatic articles.
4. Corrections & Transparent Errata
Technology standards evolve continuously. If a technical error, deprecated API endpoint, or factual inaccuracy is identified, we commit to correcting it swiftly and transparently. Substantive corrections include a visible "Updated / Errata" note at the header of the article detailing what was changed and when.
Readers and engineers can report technical inaccuracies directly to our editorial desk at corrections@spikearrow.com.
